Family, Music and lots of Sunshine :)

The weekend after mother's birthday we actually celebrated it (with all the family) because dad was gone for her actual birthday! It was also the same weekend as Rendevouz in the park, so that called for a [huge] celebration!! Once again, Lex and Jess came down to enjoy the great evening! Everyone brought some type of food for dinner, and we sat out on blankets in the park and listened to the music. Of course, once the main band set up we spent the rest of the night on the dance floor, shaking our little rumps and doin' our thing! It was so much fun, and Benjamin and Hayden really know how to break it down!

After the park, we went home and gorged ourselves with lots and lots and lots of pies for mom's birthday. The choices were Marianberry, Apple, and Kahlua Cream Pie, I mean come on... I think we each tried all of them! YUM! Lex and John again played music (which is my favorite part of family dinners) so everyone lay around and listened (and requested) song after song! The only thing missing was Annie, because the two of us make quite the groupies for the two guitar players. Although a cute couple whom had never had dinner with us joined and the girl ended up having an amazing voice, and blew the rest of us out of the water! By the end of the night, Hayden and I had crashed, and finally joined Benjamin up in my bed.
I couldn't ask for a more amazing place to be-- then being cuddled up next to my two cousin's all cozy, warm and safe! It was a wonderful night, and birthday for mom! <3 <3 <3

Coeur D' Alene Lake Time

We have been so lucky to be able to spend so much time this summer with Lex, Jess and the babies (Benjamin and Hayden)!! I have made 4 trips up to Coeur D' Alene and they have come down here twice. So of course, these events lead to lots of fun, delicious food any many pictures! Mom, Hunter and I ventured up to CDA for the night before we took Hunter to tennis camp and spent the evening with the family! We spent the day at the beach and played in the water. We were told by the "dog catcher" that dogs aren't allowed, so mom had to walk around the streets of CDA for an hour keeping Dugan entertained, but then we saw other dogs on the beach again, so we brought him back and he enjoyed the water. Hayden grabbed onto Dugan's tail and got pulled by him through the water, which was very entertaining!

We then had an amazing dinner, with the company of Talia as well. After we put the kids to bed, we all piled onto Lex and Jess' bed and watched "The Hangover" because they hadn't seen the movie (it is a classic)! We were unsure if Lex would laugh, because he says he doesn't laugh at many movies, but he DEFINITELY laughed at the movie, which isn't a surprise! The next day mom drove Hunter to Sandpoint for his camp, and I went shopping with Jess, Hayden and Ben.
-->Never leave cousin Logan alone in Ross with the babies-- by the time mom arrived, they had picked out at least three toys each and began begging to have them (although I DID tell them that they could only look and that mom wasn't getting them anything)! Hehe! We met up with Tanya and Talia for lunch and sat out in the sun and enjoyed the company!

4th of July Madness!!

I hope everyone had a wonderful 4th of July! Ours was VERY fun, and I think some traditions started that will continue for years to come! The family and company, including Henning our friend from Germany, Chris Williams, another friend named Ken and the Coeur d' Alene Levy's (Lex, Jess, Ben and Hayden) all caravanned down to Dave Scott's house in Lewiston at about 3 in the afternoon. Once we got down there we hung out by the river, enjoyed the sunshine, threw the dogs sticks into the water, played ping pong and caught up with friends. After the Larkins, Morgan and Emma, and lots of Daves friends arrived, we all engulfed ourselves in Dave's delicious ribs, lots of side dishes and way to many desserts that left us feeling full and rather sick.

After dinner, Buddy decided it would be a good idea to go swimming in the river [rather a bold move] but he soon had followers, and by the end of it there were 7 of us who jumped into the freezing water and floated the river while the spectators cheered us on and took lots of pictures! It was rather crazy and bold but very fun, so fun that we decided to do it again, and some people even a third time! Luckily we had Hayden waiting for us on the shore with our towels, so weren't cold for to long!

Swimming was followed by music and s'mores! John and Uncle Lex played their guitars while Hayden and I danced, and other's talked and made s'mores. Benjamin spotted fireworks so we also were able to see those! The fire was perfect for warming up the swimmers! It was a great day and night with awesome company!

Thank you everyone for making the 4th so special and I can't wait until next year, i'm sure we'll all be down there again... except for maybe Henning!
Dad and Chris are leaving tomorrow for a week and a half, so mom and I will be "men-less" besides Hunter, so we will be doing lots of cleaning, shopping and laying in the sun. We are also having a neighborhood yard sale on Saturday the 10th, so come by if you have time, and don't forget to wish mom a happy birthday on the 9th!! :) :)

Sunset Cruise

Logan decided this year that for her boyfriend, Chris Williams birthday she would do something new and fun, because since they have been dating for two and a half years, she was all out of ideas for gifts, so this year she decided to surprise him with a dinner cruise on the Coeur D' Alene Lake. The cruise was for two hours, a buffet dinner and toured around the lake for a span of 14 miles. It was so much fun, the weather was warm and something quite unique. The two had a lot of fun, with lots of pictures to show for it!

Happy Birthday Chris!!

After dinner, we stood on the balcony and looked at all the huge, gorgeous houses!

All dressed up for the event!

Beginning of Summer :)

Summer has just begun and the Levy family adventures are in full swing :) The summer started off with Logan moving back home for the summer, Hunter participating in many tennis camps, and lounging at the pool. Buddy is off to DC to start filling the TV show, and Logan is working for the same disabilities agency that she worked for last year. She is absolutely loving it: she loves the children, being able to watch them progress and grow, and loves spending the days at work either at the pool, library or park! This is Seth Carter, one of the main boys Logan works with. He is the most amazing boy and the whole Levy family loves him. Unfortunately he has moved away for the summer and Logan won't be able to work with him, but she is starting with a new little boy who is so precious as well!

During the first few weeks at home, Logan traveled to Coeur D' Alene multiple times to spend time with the "Coeur D' Alene" Levy family which includes Buddy's brother, wife and two children. They are the closest family location wise, so we love doing things together. Logan spent the night baby-sitting the little ones. They ordered pizza, cleaned their rooms, watched movies, read and cuddled, it was amazing!
Benjamin, Logan and Hayden!

This weekend is the Forth of July and the Levy's from up north will be traveling down to visit! We are going to be spending the day on the river, enjoying delicious food, great company and lots of fun! Both friends and family will be joining, so it should be a great time!
Enjoy your Forth of July!!! :)
